After two weeks of net buying, Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) have turned net sellers in Indian equities this week, withdrawing a net sum of Rs 976 crore. This shift comes amidst a strengthening dollar and a steady rise in US 10-year bond yields.
The trend of net withdrawals has been evident in recent months, with FPIs pulling out a net Rs 21,612 crore in November and a staggering Rs 94,017 crore in October, marking the worst monthly outflow on record.
