Amazon Assures No Disruptions Amid Teamsters Union Strike

Amazon has confirmed that operations remain uninterrupted despite a strike initiated by the Teamsters union at seven of its US facilities.

The labor action commenced on Thursday, following the union's failure to secure a contract negotiation by Amazon before the December 15 deadline. An Amazon spokeswoman stated to AFP on Friday that "no disruptions at all" have been caused by the strike and they "aren't anticipating any either."

The spokeswoman further commented on the union's tactics, stating, "The truth is that they were unable to get enough support from our employees and partners and have brought in outsiders to harass and intimidate our team, which is inappropriate and dangerous." This statement dismisses the union's portrayal of its position.
