Bharti Airtel Makes a Significant Payment to Clear Spectrum Liabilities

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel has prepaid Rs 3,626 crore to the Department of Telecom to settle all its liabilities for spectrum acquired in 2016, the company announced on Thursday.

This substantial payment signifies Bharti Airtel's commitment to clearing all its spectrum dues, particularly those with interest costs exceeding 8.7%.
