The outage, which affected millions of customers, was reported around 14:00 CET and led to difficulties accessing key services such as card payments and ATM withdrawals.

CaixaBank clarified that the disruption was due to a technical incident and there was no evidence suggesting a cyberattack. Many users took to social media to report issues with the bank's services, highlighting problems with mobile banking and online transactions.
