Stellantis Accelerates Ram 1500 Ramcharger Launch

In a strategic move to meet overwhelming consumer interest, Stellantis NV has announced an accelerated launch for the Ram 1500 Ramcharger, a range-extended electric pickup truck. Originally slated for a later release, the Ramcharger will now open for orders in 2025, with the fully electric Ram 1500 REV model following in 2026.

Equipped with a 92 kWh battery, the Ramcharger promises an impressive range of up to 690 miles. Its innovative bi-directional charging feature allows for power sharing with other vehicles or the grid, making it a versatile addition to the electric vehicle market. This strategic shift further delays the launch of the Ram 1500 REV, which has now been confirmed for a 2026 release.
