United States House Speaker Mike Johnson revealed on Tuesday that an agreement on the next stopgap bill, designed to keep the government funded through March 14, is "coming together."
Speaking to the press after the House Republican Conference's meeting, Johnson stated, "We are almost there" and anticipated the document could be released later in the day. He also confirmed that the proposed bill will include $10 billion in funding for farmers.
It is important to note that the previously approved bill will keep the government open until 00:00 am ET between Friday and Saturday.
