Uncertainty Looms Over ECB's Monetary Policy Cycle End

European Central Bank (ECB) Vice-President Luis de Guindos has cast doubt on the end of the current monetary policy cycle, stating that while interest rate cuts are expected to continue in the coming months, the final outcome remains uncertain.

"No one knows what the final outcome will be, but the path of the journey is relatively clear if projections are met," de Guindos said during an event organized by Madrid Foro Empresarial.

The central banker also warned that proposed United States tariff hikes by President-elect Donald Trump could lead to inflationary pressures in the euro area.
