Asia-Pacific Markets Show Mixed Performance

On Monday, major stock indexes in the Asia-Pacific region exhibited a mixed trend as investors carefully analyzed the latest economic data and awaited central bank decisions.

China's National Bureau of Statistics released retail and industrial production figures, while Japan's PMI data also garnered attention. This week's central bank decisions, including those from the Federal Reserve, the Bank of Japan, and the People's Bank of China, are expected to significantly influence market movements.

In Australia, the S&P/ASX 200 declined by 0.38% at 3:26 am CET. South Korea's Kospi Composite followed suit, dropping by 0.04% a minute later. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index decreased by 0.24% at 3:27 am CET. Meanwhile, on the Chinese mainland, the Shanghai Composite remained stable, but the Shenzhen Composite fell by 0.92% at 3:28 am CET. Japan's Nikkei 225, however, saw a slight increase of 0.18% at the same time.

The dollar strengthened by 0.19% against the yen, trading at ¥153.9650 at 3:29 am CET.
