Apple CEO to Discuss Critical Matters with President-elect Trump
Apple Inc. CEO Tim Cook is scheduled to meet with United States President-elect Donald Trump for dinner tonight at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort, according to a source familiar with the matter cited by the New York Times.
Recently, Meta Platforms Inc. CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Amazon.com Inc. founder Jeff Bezos have also engaged in meetings with the President-elect. Both executives pledged $1 million to Trump's inauguration fund.
Cook's discussion with Trump is expected to cover several pressing issues, including the ongoing $15 billion tax dispute with the European Union and proposed tariffs on Chinese imports, which could potentially increase the prices of electronics.
