CD Projekt Unveils Stunning Trailer for Highly Anticipated Witcher IV Game

Poland's Gaming Giant CD Projekt Drops Witcher IV Trailer

Poland's leading video game developer, CD Projekt, has unveiled a captivating trailer for its upcoming addition to the wildly popular "Witcher" fantasy series. Following the challenging launch of "Cyberpunk", the company has refrained from specifying a release date for "The Witcher IV", which is currently in full-scale production.

This single-player role-playing game is set to expand the universe of the medieval fantasy franchise, which has sold over 75 million copies since the debut of the first game in 2007. CD Projekt stated that "The Witcher IV" aims to be the most immersive and ambitious open-world Witcher game to date, led by Ciri, the adopted daughter of Geralt of Rivia, the protagonist from previous Witcher games.

Developed using customized Unreal Engine 5 technology, the six-minute trailer showcases the game's potential quality. Analysts predict a debut in 2026 or 2027, leaving CD Projekt without a major revenue driver until then. Erste Group analyst Piotr Bogusz noted that the trailer has garnered relatively high interest and mostly positive ratings.
