US Natural Gas Inventories Experience a Substantial Decline

According to the latest report from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), the working natural gas in storage across the United States has decreased by 190 billion cubic feet during the week ending December 6, compared to the previous week. This brings the total to 3,747 billion cubic feet.

On a year-over-year basis, the figure has advanced by 67 billion cubic feet. The current stockpiles are 165 billion cubic feet above the five-year average of 3,582 billion cubic feet. Notably, the total working gas remains within the five-year historical range.
