Inflation in Russia Climbs to 8.9% in November

According to a recent report by Rosstat, Russia's statistical office, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose to 8.9% in November compared to the same month a year before. This marks an increase from the 8.5% inflation rate reported in October.

Food Prices on the Rise

Food prices experienced a significant jump, increasing by 9.8% in November compared to the same month last year. Non-food product prices also climbed by 5.7%, while services prices surged by 11.1% year-over-year.

Monthly Consumer Price Increase

On a monthly basis, consumer prices were up by 1.4%, reflecting ongoing inflationary pressures in the Russian economy.
