TeamViewer Acquires 1E for $720 Million

In a strategic move to bolster its position in the digital workplace market, German software company TeamViewer announced the acquisition of IT firm 1E for $720 million on Tuesday.

This acquisition is set to integrate TeamViewer's expertise in remote access and support with 1E's autonomous IT platform, aiming to enhance customer benefits by preventing IT issues and improving efficiency through remote expert resolution.

With a workforce of approximately 300 employees, 1E offers a leading Digital Experience (DEX) platform that provides real-time visibility into enterprise IT environments. The platform is designed to quickly identify emerging issues and automate remediation directly at the endpoint, further enhancing the capabilities of TeamViewer's solutions.
