Gasoline Prices Soar as Global Factors Impact Market
The recent ceasefire deal between Israel and Hezbollah, coupled with the increasing fuel reserve in the U.S., has led to a significant rise in gasoline prices. The popular fuel RON95 has seen a 1.61% increase, now priced at VND20,850 (US$0.82) per liter. Meanwhile, E5 RON92 has surged by 2.59% to VND19,840 per liter.
Diesel prices have also experienced a 1.46% hike, reaching VND18,770 per liter. The ongoing discussions within OPEC+ about suspending plans to boost oil production have further influenced these price increases.
Over the past seven days, gasolines have risen by 2.1-3.6%, while oils have added 0.9-1.4%. Currently, RON95 is priced at $85.4 per barrel, and diesel at $89.7.
