Turkey's Annual Inflation Shows a Slight Decline in November
The Turkish Statistical Institute has reported that the annual inflation rate in Turkey has dropped to 47.09% in November, marking a slight decrease from the previous month's 48.58%.
Despite the decline, the inflation rate remains alarmingly high, with education and housing prices experiencing the most significant increases. Education prices surged by 92.49% and housing prices by 74.45% year-over-year.
On a month-on-month basis, consumer prices rose by 2.24% in November, with food and non-alcoholic beverages seeing a 5.10% increase. Transportation and clothing and footwear categories saw the smallest growth, with prices jumping 26.24% and 31.45% on an annual basis, respectively.
